Each light recoiling shotshell contains 24 grams (slightly less than 7/8 ounces) of #7.5 lead shot. Winchester chills and hardens their lead shot so that it resists deformation and flies farther in a tighter cloud for optimal performance on clay targets and upland birds like dove, grouse, and chukkar. Each round is put together using a durable plastic hull for moisture resistance, a clean-igniting primer for sure ignition in any condition, and Winchester's own AA wad.
