These little turkey slayers were manufactured in Turkey. That certainly seems appropriate. Each shotshell comes to the party with 1-3/16 ounces of #4 shot. It is lead shot, so you don’t want to hunt with it on protected lands. But it is also a lot of shot – 160 pellets, give or take – which means you’re going to punch a good number of 0.13” diameter holes into your target. Better yet, this shell still boasts a pretty high 1,295 fps muzzle velocity in spite of its normal length and heavy payload of shot. That’s the kind of power a bad hombre such as yourself can really appreciate.

Sterling’s ammo is noncorrosive. We have not personally tested this ammo’s hulls out at the reloading table. They may in fact be reloadable, but our sterling conscience prohibits us from promising whether that is truly the case.
