That’s BB shot, specifically, which means there’s no American waterfowl it can’t effectively pin down. Each pellet is uniform in size and too rigid to flatten under pressure, so you can rest assured you’re throwing a lethally efficient pattern with each squeeze.

This shell is a monster. Three inches long. One and a quarter ounces of shot. Fifteen hundred fps muzzle velocity! Taken all together, the shot pellets’ combined muzzle energy equals 2,732 ft lbs. Better prepare for “some” recoil.

At least recoil will be consistent. Hevi’s premium powder and primer spark up to predictable results. The Oregon manufacturer’s best-in-class wad does even more to prevent any surprises on ignition.
