25rds – 12 Gauge Fiocchi 2-3/4" 1oz. #9 Shot Ammo

25rds – 12 Gauge Fiocchi 2-3/4" 1oz. #9 Shot Ammo Details

Skeet shooting is great for when you have gotten competent at trap shooting and want to remember what it’s like to have no idea what you’re doing again. But whichever kind of clays you’re bursting, you’ll need ammo like these 12 Gauge shotshells by Fiocchi to take care of the job.

This shell is loaded with one full ounce of #9 shot. At .08” in diameter it’s pretty much the smallest shot pellet you’re likely to find in a factory loaded shell, and it’s really not great for hunting unless you’re shooting pigeons in Central Park. (Note: Do not attempt this.) But with nearly 600 of these tiny pellets to a single standard-sized shell, #9 shot delivers a dense pattern that reliably destroys pottery!

The lead Fiocchi uses to make their shot is exceptionally hard. The addition of the element antimony helps keep those pellets nice and round, preserving their ability to cluster tight together as they fly farther and farther downrange. Fiocchi’s non-corrosive primer and clean burning propellant both contribute to a cleaner shotgun once your game has ended, and their shell itself is reloadable.
