This 12 Gauge shotshell’s shot does not contain lead, so it’s A-OK for hunting where lead is banned. It’s also a great pick if you’re trying to keep your own property cleaner and healthier for all the little critters you like to shoot!This shell is armed with #6 steel shot. A #6 shot pellet weighs less when it is made of steel instead of denser lead, which is why the shell has a lighter shot column and significantly faster muzzle velocity than average. Those features help the steel pellets conserve more momentum as they race downrange, thus amplifying their stopping power, and they don’t produce more chamber pressure than a shotgun is designed to handle!
Steel is harder than lead. That means you can anticipate truly narrow patterns when you fire this ammo, as its shot pellets won’t flatten down and become less aerodynamic as they’re pushed down the barrel.
