This 12 Gauge shotshell from Federal’s Top Gun Sporting line of ammunition generates a only a relatively small amount of felt recoil when fired. That makes it perfect for younger shooters, older shooters who’ve earned a shoulder injury at some point, or anyone who’d like better accuracy while firing their two barrels in rapid succession. Although a more comfortable round to fire, this shell’s fast 1,250 fps muzzle velocity will still give you the power you need to smash clays far downrange.

Federal loaded this shell with #8 lead shot. The .09” pellets are widely used in trap and skeet for their proven ability to break clays, and Federal made this shell’s shot extra hard and round to promote its straight flight. This shell’s cleverly engineered wad and even burning propellant do even more to promote great accuracy, making this one of the best budget-friendly sporting loads you could invest in.
