This shotshell packs a full-sized 1-1/8 ounce charge of shot, although its comparably slower 1,145 fps muzzle velocity means that you don’t have to anticipate very strong recoil. The Podium wad’s unique circular midsection also does a good deal to soften kick by collapsing during ignition. Its Podium wad also braces this shell’s #7.5 shot pellets against deformation – something they are already extremely resilient against thanks to the high-antimony lead they are made of.
