It’s easy to get into the rhythm of only taking your 12 Gauge shotgun to the trap or sporting clays range, but your 20 Gauge has just as much right to shatter some clay, too. Stars and Stripes 20ga shotshells are made by Cheddite in Italy, and they’re not priced so dearly that you’ll hesitate to spend all day saying “pull!”This is a target load, and it is appropriately loaded with 7/8 ounces of the #7.5 shot which delivers the ideal pattern for ensnaring clays on the fly. Each 0.095” diameter pellet is made of very hard lead, so it endures heavy pressure to remain round and aerodynamic. Pattern your shotgun right and you’ll deliver a tight cluster of shot on target with every pull of the trigger.
Cheddite loads this shell to a muzzle velocity of 1,200 fps. That’s right at the low end of the spectrum for a target load muzzle velocity, so you can expect quite manageable recoil while you’re training or competing. This ammo is non-corrosive and clean-shooting, and its hulls reload nicely.
