This is a 2-1/2 dram equivalent shotshell, with a 7/8 ounce payload of shot and enough powder to ship it downrange at a rate of 1,200 fps. The #8 shot pellets deliver a great balance of range, pattern density and kinetic energy when a clay disc is in your sights. Extra hard lead makes Estate’s shot pellets safer against deformation, and a hinged wad does even more to narrow up the pattern’s diameter.
