We like it when ammo manufacturers tie a line of their ammunition to a non-profit organization. They usually pick a conservation effort, but Winchester’s USA VALOR does the most good of all: supplying funds to Folds of Honor so the non-profit can in turn provide scholarships to the spouses and children of military members who sacrificed in the name of our country.This 12 Gauge ammunition wouldn’t do very much good in actual combat, unless a hostile foreign nation figured out a way to weaponize clay pigeons. It’s target ammo, loaded with 1-1/8 ounce columns of #7.5 lead shot. Its 1,200 fps muzzle velocity is fast enough to reduce the need to lead dramatically far ahead with your aim, and its hinged wads mitigate the amount of recoil you’ll have to tolerate while you’re enjoying your game. The collapsing wad also provides further assurance that the hard lead shot pellets won’t become too deformed to pattern correctly before clearing the muzzle.
These target loads are American-made and reloadable, packaged 25 rounds to a box and ready for a fine day at the range!
