This is a lighter load, with 1 ounce of shot instead of 1-1/8 ounces and a perfectly average (but not remotely ineffective) muzzle velocity of 1,250 fps. You’re assured an efficient pattern by Winchester’s very own hinged wad, which folds in on itself during ignition so it can prevent the lead shot pellets from flattening out. A hinged wad also makes recoil feel a little less jerky, so you’ll have less muzzle rise to fight against while you’re doing the one-two boogaloo down at the skeet range!

This shell is loaded with #7.5 shot – 0.095” diameter pellets that provide the range and pattern which are both perfect for making clay discs go ker-pow.
