Best known for its long line of iconic firearms, Winchester has been shaping shooting sports with high-performance products since 1866. Winchester continues this tradition of excellence with their Elite Blind Side line of waterfowl loads. With 15 percent more pellets per shell and a 250 percent increase in trauma-producing power, Blind SIde is Winchester’s deadliest waterfowl ammunition.

Each of these new production 3-inch shotgun shells is loaded with 1 ⅛ ounces of #6 steel shot. Featuring a unique hexagonal shape, these pellets slice through tough feathers to deliver deep penetration and carve effective wound channels. The hex shape also allows efficient stacking in the shot cup. This compact stacking leaves room for more pellets and bigger powder charges, improving both velocity and down-range accuracy. The increased powder charge allows this ammo to produce a blistering muzzle velocity of 1675 feet per second, and when it comes to duck waterfowl, more speed produces better results.

Winchester Elite Blind Side is manufactured with an exclusive Diamond-cut wad which manages shot density and stretches the “kill zone” by a whopping 25 percent. A hinged wad column also increases velocity while reducing perceived recoil, allowing faster shot recovery and accurate follow-up shots.

Blind Side loads also feature Winchester’s patented Drylock Super Steel system. This system provides extra moisture protection for superior reliability even in the cold wet conditions of late season duck hunting. This ammunition comes packed in 25-round boxes with 10 boxes per case.
