250rds – 12 Gauge Winchester AA Xtra-Lite 2-3/4" 1oz. #9 Shot Ammo Details

Do you have a smaller frame, or has an injury made your shoulder more sensitive to recoil? Do you just want an advantage while you’re attempting to empty out both barrels as quickly – and accurately – as possible? Then you’ve got every reason in the world to shoot targets with Winchester AA Xtra-Lite 12 Gauge ammunition!

The recoil energy a shotgun generates during ignition is determined by five factors: shotgun weight, propellant weight, wad weight, shot weight and muzzle velocity. This shell focuses on the final two factors in order to reduce felt recoil. Its single ounce of shot is a little lighter than you’re allowed to fire during a competition, and its muzzle velocity is tamer at 1,180 feet per second.

The AA wad is also designed to mitigate felt recoil. Its center collapeses in on itself during ignition, thus absorbing recoil energy in the process. This further serves to preserve shot pellet sphericity, which alongside Winchester’s proven hard #9 lead shot pellets ensures tight and effective patterning. These clean-igniting American-made low-brass shotgun shells have high-strength hulls, and they are reloadable!
