250rds – 12 Gauge Sterling TRAP Competition 2-3/4" 7/8oz. #8 Shot Ammo Details

Sterling’s TRAP Competition ammo line is engineered for the trap and sporting clays aficionado who doesn’t like soaking up a whole lot of recoil with their shoulder. Here we have a 12 Gauge load with a mere 7/8 ounce charge of #8 shot. Such small pellets still deliver a dense pattern at the clay range, but in conjunction with Sterling’s special soft wad technology you can expect less of the kick that tends to tire people out.

Sterling made this shell’s limited number of shot pellets count. They are high-antimony lead, which is too resilient to get crushed and flattened during ignition. And that’s important, because this shell’s high-speed 1,300 fps muzzle velocity will subject those tiny lead balls to a whole lot of pressure. This shell’s sensitive primer and select powder deliver the flat, accurate trajectory and short lead time you want while you’re smashing clay!

Sterling is based in Turkey and currently exports their ammo to more than 60 countries. Their new production shotgun shells are completely non-corrosive, and their hulls make serviceable reloading components several times over.
