These 12 gauge rounds are built for duty use or personal defense and propel nine lead pellets of 00 buckshot which each trigger pull. The shot pellets are hardened before being loaded atop a cushioning wad; both of these design choices protect the shot from flattening out and preserve the capacity for tight patterns and effective terminal ballistics. A combination of light powder charges and recoil-absorbing wads makes these shotshells pleasant to shoot which allows for faster, more accurate follow-up shots. Each shell features a 2-3/4 inch hull with a raised and rolled rim for compatibility and steel head for smooth feeding with a wide range of shotguns alongside seamless loading.

I'm no gun expert, but the roll crimps need to be tighter. They rattle a lot and have a bunch of gunpowder gunpowder passing through so I don't think there's something you want to rely on. And home defense anyway Well, couldn't get the pitcher upload, but there's a lot of gunpowder passing past the wad and like I said, the real crimp needs to be tighter, otherwise there's a lot of rattling going on.

This is excellent buckshot, it cycles cleanly in everything and shoots clean too. High polish, good stuff for home defense. The 9 pellet is very effective especially at close range, expect a nice tight group for 12 guage. I was really impressed.

These shells are slightly longer than other 00Buck comparatively. Not an issue in my Kel Tec but my Mag-fed shotgun does not like to accept them. Gonna have to buy some different ammo to rectify.
