250rds – 12 Gauge Fiocchi Low Recoil 2-3/4" 9 Pellets #1 Buckshot Ammo Details

It’s about darn time you ordered yourself a whole flat of Fiocchi’s reduced recoil 12 Gauge shotgun ammunition. It is perfect for target shooting if you have a smaller frame or a weaker shoulder. It is perfectly serviceable for hunting deer, as well as coyote and other undesirable critters. And if you’re looking for an outstanding solution to home defense, you’re looking square at it!

This shell was loaded in the Show-Me State with nine pellets of #1 buckshot. The lead balls are plated with nickel, which helps to preserve their spherical, aerodynamic and tight-patterning profiles. Nickel continues to preserve the pellets’ sphericity after impact, which has the welcome effect of promoting deeper, more injurious penetration.

This shell’s 1,150 fps muzzle velocity is cause for concern if you need ammo for a semi-automatic shotgun. At 2-1/2, its dram equivalent may be too low to guarantee reliable cycling. But that lower muzzle velocity also translates to lower recoil, so you can anticipate less muzzle flip while you’re trying to fire rapidly. In other words, this ammo will help you keep your muzzle pointed at the last thing you fired at!
