(Our apologies if you are a wealthy attorney, but you understand where we’re coming from. Still buy ammo from us.) That’s what makes Fiocchi’s 3 Gun Match line of 12 Gauge ammo so exciting. The old Italian authority partnered with Mr. Miculek when they designed it!We’re not sure which parts of this ammo Mr. Miculek is responsible for, but he surely approved of its shot. The #7.5 shot pellet is ideal for trap and sporting clays – perhaps a little larger than what’s ideal for skeet, but still serviceable. The extra hard shot pellet retains the aerodynamic profile it needs to remain part of a tight pattern, and Fiocchi’s collapsing plastic wad also does a good job of promoting a tighter-packed patten downrange.
This shotshell’s 1,200 fps muzzle velocity makes chasing down a fast-flying clay easy enough. The wad’s ability to flatten down under pressure also helps you avoid felt recoil. And thanks to the reloadable hull’s radiused crimp, you’ll find that this shell is real easy to plug into a shotgun’s magazine when you’re in a hurry – a welcome advantage during a competitive shooting event!
