250rds – 12 Gauge Federal Top Gun 2-3/4" 1oz. #7.5 Shot Ammo

250rds – 12 Gauge Federal Top Gun 2-3/4" 1oz. #7.5 Shot Ammo Details

Sporting clays: basically impossible to play without a shotgun. But equally impossible without shotgun ammo! If you’d like to test your might at ye olde sporting claye range – or accomplish other impressive feats at the trap or skeet zones – then we’ve got a whole case of Federal Premium Top Gun 12 Gauge shells with your name on it.

This is a lighter load. Its 1,250 fps muzzle velocity is precisely in the middle of the road as far as target ammo goes, but its shot column is just a touch smaller at one ounce. That helps to diminish felt recoil, as does this shell’s hinged and collapsible wad. Federal’s powder also combusts at a predictably consistent rate, so you’ll have even less kick to contend with.

This shell’s wad also does a good job of preventing the #7.5 shot pellets from flattening down. Alongside they rigid lead they are made of, that helps to ensure all 350 or so pellets keep close together as they rocket toward their target.

Once you’ve contented yourself with the number of clays you have crushed, you’ll be able to become even more contented by reloading this ammo’s high-strength hulls. And if you don’t feel like handloading, our fast shipping will make sure you’re resupplied soon!
