This limited edition ammunition by Federal Premium features Lady Liberty, Old Glory, and lots of pretty fireworks on its packaging. Inside you’ll find ammo you may already know and love: Top Gun, which is perfect if you want to shoot trap, sporting clays, or the Union Jack in retaliation for Great Britain’s unjust aggression toward our beautiful, newborn country.

Lots of clay-busters swear by the 1-1/8 ounce #8 lead shot payload. It throws an inescapable 461 beads downrange at a velocity just faster than that of sound itself. Federal doesn’t load Top Gun ammo with their highest-antimony shot, but the pellets are serviceably hard and tight patterning for all forms of target shooting nevertheless.

This shell’s dram equivalent is 2-3/4. It represents agreeable recoil, but is lower than the 3 D.E. minimum generally advised for semi-automatics.
