250rds – 12 Gauge Fiocchi Golden Goose 3-1/2" 1-5/8oz. #1 Steel Ammo Details
“Oca D'oro” -- that’s Italian for “Golden Goose,” a name we think would look awfully pretty on this box of waterfowl loads by Fiocchi. Still, it’s not like anyone would know what that means on this side of the puddle. We had to look it up ourselves, because our Italian language skills are pretty much limited to what you’d need to know to order dinner at The Old Spaghetti Factory. This 12 Gauge shotshell is, as you might imagine, just the thing for grounding big honkers. Its #1 shot is made of steel that has been treated to protect against corrosion, and its wad will protect your shotgun’s bore from becoming scratched up by such harder pellets. This long shell’s propellant burns clean to deliver a 1,430 fps muzzle velocity -- such speed is just what steel needs to remain very deadly even for having traveled far downrange, and will let you lead less with your aim at the same time.
Before you order, first let’s learn a little more Italian together. “Dammi l'anguilla di mio fratello Giuseppe” -- that means “Give me the eel of my brother Giuseppe.” Okay, you’re already for your upcoming trip to Solopaca!

I have shot these against every brand I could compare against at 40 yards they came in second out of 20 combinations tested, only beaten by remington #4 shot. But #1 has alot more energy at 50 yards. I am on my second case and after dropping ducks and Geese at ranges past 50 yards last season, I won't be buying anything else as long as they still sell golden goose. These shells perform better than steel that costs twice as much! I have less cripples than ever before, most drop stone dead. They performed the best out of a FULL choke in my shotgun.
