These high grade casings are perfect for handloading custom 5.56mm cartridges to NATO pressure specifications! Each casing has been annealed at the neck and shoulder to prevent splitting and cracking after repeated loading. This malleability also ensures a proper chamber seal for consistent performance when used for precision target loads. Federal chose to leave these casings unprimed which not only lowers the base cost but allows expert reloaders to pick their own primers.

This is paramount when following specific load recipes but also enables the use of economy primers for high volume handloaders who create their rounds in bulk. Federal's American Eagle line of components and finished ammunition is known for its quality and inexpensive price. This 250 count bag of brass is sealed for moisture-resistance and easy transportation. Federal's casings are manufactured in Missouri at the revered Lake City Army Ammunition Plant.
