This 9mm +P+ cartridge by Underwood features a 90 grain Xtreme Defender by Lehigh Defense. It’s a non-expanding projectile, but by virtue of its unique design it still manages to create a wound channel comparable to what a 5.56 NATO would have provided! The grooved solid copper bullet channels and ejects soft tissues outward during penetration to create massive cavitation, and because its profile resembles that of a round nose its efficacy can’t be impacted by clogging during penetration. This bullet can reach depths of up to 16 inches as well, making it an especially deadly little number.

This cartridge additionally offers a nickel plated brass casing which cycles like a dream through a semi-automatic and guards it against gradual corrosion. Underwood utilizes flash suppressed powder in all of their loads, so this round is optimal for when you’d want to fight back in the dark without muzzle flash immediately blinding you. You can count on this self-defense round’s quality Boxer primer to do its job when you most need it to.
