20rds – 9mm +P Underwood 90gr. Xtreme Defender Ammo Details

This 9mm +P cartridge by Underwood is an excellent choice for self-defense, although its bullet doesn’t actually expand. Rather, the 90 grain CNC machined copper projectile sports radial flutes which channel and laterally eject the soft tissues they come into contact with. This enables it to produce an absolutely devastating permanent wound channel, while at the same time providing virtually barrier blind performance and the ability to penetrate up to 18 inches in its target. This bullet also feeds extremely reliably in a semi-automatic weapon.

This round feeds and extracts with even greater dependability courtesy of its smooth nickel plated brass casing. The nickel has been applied via the Ducta-Bright 7a process, and as the result is less brittle and accordingly better suited for handloading once emptied. This round’s propellant is formulated to generate significantly less muzzle flash, making it ideal for when you must stand your ground in a dim environment and wouldn’t want your first shot to ruin your night vision.

Tested on 95lb Ferrell hog out my 9mm Glock at 15 yds one shot through front shoulder stumbled around for about 10 seconds and went down went through completely and exited somewhere couldn't find the bullet but did a hell of lot soft tissue damage and destroyed the lungs and left frag in the heart tissue so I would definitely use as a self defense round with deadly results

These hit hard, penetrate deep, and dump their energy. Watch the watermelon videos.

Runs flawlessly in the XDM-E little recoil not very loud and the muzzle flash is minimal. Personally I find this more suited for self defense in the country or mountains not so much against people in a suburban or city setting. Rounds hit and penetrate pretty hard

Excellent. No issues firing in Glock 17,19,43s.
