G2 Research 92 Grain Solid Copper Hollow Point (SCHP) Ammo Details
This 9mm +P cartridge from G2 Research’s Telos line of ammunition is outfitted with a 92 grain projectile, which is unusually light for its caliber. That means you’ll experience very recoil while firing it, which will leave you far better able to aim follow-up shots in a hectic self-defense situation. This round’s bullet is even better suited for personal protection because it is a solid copper hollow point. It has got no core and jacket that could separate during penetration, which along with copper’s great toughness translates to exemplary weight retention. This round’s fast muzzle velocity means that its bullet can reliably penetrate deeper than 10 inches as well. What’s more, this round’s hollow point brings about greater terminal performance than mere expansion alone -- it delivers controlled fragmentation to create seven distinct wound channels spanning an area of three inches, thus greatly increasing its chance of knocking out a vital for incredibly effective stopping power.-

Gel test Results
We tested this G2 Research 9mm Luger (9x19) ammo by firing five rounds with a S&W M&P Shield with a 3.1-inch barrel into calibrated Clear Ballistics gelatin. Of those five rounds, we discovered the ammo penetrated an average of 11.68-inches into the gelatin. Our test rounds ended the test with an average expanded diameter of 0.35-inches, retaining 34% of the projectile's original weight.
