This is unconventional ammunition: suitable for any 9mm pistol you could carry, but loaded with a type of bullet you might be unfamiliar with. Liberty Ammunition of Florida doesn’t offer OverWatch 9mm as a gimmick, though. They offer it so you can chamber lightweight yet outstanding power for self-defense!

This cartridge’s solid copper hollow point projectile tips the scale at just 72 grains, which is less than half as heavy as the widely popular 147 grain JHP. This weight reduction enables the SCHP to clear muzzle at a blistering fast velocity of 1,500 fps (without building up +P pressure behind it). The SCHP subsequently exhibits a level trajectory, and would arrive at a 10-foot target with sufficient momentum to penetrate up to 16” deep into ballistic gelatin – and it does this all while delivering surprisingly gentle recoil as well.

The SCHP doesn’t just penetrate, of course. It also widens out to maximize energy transfer while simultaneously inflicting accentuated damage to any internal organs it comes into contact with. The wide-diameter wound cavity speaks for itself.

This ammo’s light bullets lessen the load you have to carry. Six 72 grain loads weigh approximately 1 ounce less than the same number of 147 grain loads! Each round’s lead-free bullet is seated in a new brass case with black nickel plating.
