My son hunts with a Model 70 FWT.3 mule deer 75-225 yards.All 3 dropped in their tracks.Great deer bullet.

The ammo is doing what it supposed to do. This old ruger throws shots at times. The barrel is not free floating at the end of the stock. I read that this gun was meant for 175 gr rounds vs 140 gr
