Lake City XM80CL 7.62x51 149 Grain FMJ Ammo – 20 Rounds

For almost 100 years, Federal Ammunition has been manufacturing high-quality ammo with cutting edge technology. Today, the company is regarded as production technology giant. This package contains 20 rounds of Federal Lake City XM80CL 7.62x51mm NATO ammunition.

Each cartridge has the NATO cross headstamp. Non-corrosive, boxer primed, brass-cased, and reloadable, these loads produce a consistent muzzle velocity of 2790 feet per second and a muzzle energy of 2575 foot pounds.

Each round is loaded with a 149 grain steel core magnetic copper-plated full metal jacket (FMJ) projectile. Made to military specifications, these FMJ rounds deliver minimal terminal expansion, making them best suited for target shooting and tactical drills.

For those of us that shoot 7.62 NATO rifles and are unwilling to run .308 through our rifles, this is pretty much as good as it gets. Which is pretty dang awesome if you ask me!

Ammo is outstanding spot free. Looks new. Not like Lake City ammo you buy from other retailers all spotty and ugly looking. This ammo looks brand new. Buy from Ammo To Go!!

Bought 5 boxes of 20rds Federal American Eagle Lake City 149 grain military grad ammo! ALL the ammo looks brand new! Most retailer Lake City 149 grain ammo is ugly which they say is from annealing. Not these! SUPER looking. I would buy all Federal Lake City 7.62x51 149 grain from AmmotoGo unless you want to buy this ammo piled in a box and spotty!

This is good all round target ammo. I've been shooting less than 1 inch groupings at 100 yds consistently with this stuff, with a lot of target strikes about on top of each other. No fouled rounds, no failures to fire. I just wish this stuff wasn't so expensive, but that could be said about all ammo in general.

Does what it's supposed to do. Shoot. That's about it. Good if you don't mind 4 inch groups at 100. It's military brass. So I reloaded some of them now get .5 moa.
