A lesser product description would bore you to tears with a brief history of Winchester, the 7.62x51mm rifle cartridge, and mail order shipping. This is no such product description. We know you have places to be and deer to shoot, so we’ll get straight to the point.

The pointed soft point, specifically; the main reason why this cartridge isn’t M80 spec. The lead core/copper jacket projectile’s velocity, profile and weight distribution are all like those of a normal M80 FMJ. If you’re familiar with M80 already, then we won’t promise that you won’t notice any differences whilst firing this PSP ammo. It’s certainly a lot closer to M80 than a 180 grain SST load is, though.

The PSP is your friend if you want more than just M80 in-flight ballistics. It’s jacketed thick, widens quick, and does the trick for gunning down medium game. Deer and hogs don’t like this ammo. Deer and hog hunters do, and we’re willing to bet we’re exclusively addressing the latter here.
