Here’s their stab at the 7.62x51 – a balanced, reliable solution for all your recreational shooting needs!This cartridge is loaded to M80 specs. That gives it a 147 grain bullet with a gilding metal jacket – not designed to expand like you’d want for deer hunting, but that means you don’t have to pay for a soft point or polymer tip that wouldn’t do anything to a paper target anyway. This round’s 2,665 fps muzzle velocity gives its bullet a flat enough trajectory to pull off those long-distance shots we hear you’re famous for.
Armscor doesn’t put steel in their FMJ bullets, so you don’t have to sneak this 7.62x51 ammo into ranges that prohibit magnetic ammo. Their cases are solid brass as well. Armscor does healthy business as a reloading component supplier, and their brass is strong enough to accept multiple reloads. Use this non-corrosive ammo in your 308 Win rifle if you please, it’ll work out just fine!
