These cartridges are sourced from various eastern countries including Russia, Poland, and Ukraine for high fidelity components and production practices which have made up the backbone of AK ammunition for decades; these include non-reloadable steel casings equipped with non-corrosive Berdan primers.The use of steel casings helps to cut costs on training ammunition while a polymer coating reduces metal-on-metal contact to reduce the risk of premature parts wear.
