These excellent 7.62x39mm rounds from Red Army Standard Ammunition are brought to you by the same people behind Century International Arms branded AK rifles! These cartridges are sourced from various eastern countries including Russia, Poland, and Ukraine for high fidelity components and production practices which have made up the backbone of AK ammunition for decades; these include non-reloadable steel casings equipped with non-corrosive Berdan primers.The use of steel casings helps to cut costs on training ammunition while a polymer coating reduces metal-on-metal contact to reduce the risk of premature parts wear.The light coating also serves to protect the steel from moisture so that rust is a non-issue when considering long-term storage. Each cartridge is topped off with a 122-grain full metal jacket (FMJ) bullet which is quite standard to the caliber and provides excellent practice recoil alongside a flight trajectory that AK and SKS veterans will be quite familiar with.
