PCI 150 Grain Soft-Point (SP) Ammo Details
Dust off your MAS rifle and treat it to a field trip with these 7.5x54mm cartridges from PCI. PCI, or Precision Cartridge Inc., is an Indiana-based company that's been around since 1986. They manufacture inexpensive ammunition for private shooters, law enforcement, and competitive use. Each cartridge is assembled using non-corrosive Boxer primers affixed to reloadable brass casings.PCI caps off this load with a 150-grain soft point bullet. The exposed lead tip of a soft point projectile is intended to cause expansion during entry into a game animal. This results in a tumbling effect which creates a large, free-bleeding wound cavity while transferring massive energy to vital areas after penetrating through thick hide and bone. The arrangement promotes faster drops, less chase time, and more humane hunts all around.

I've been shooting these for years. Never a slamfire, never a misfire. Sounds like the other reviewer needs to clean some cosmoline out of the firing pin channel.

I have put ten of these rounds in my MAS 49/56 and not one of them fired when struck by the firing pin. I even tried firing each round multiple times (against my better judgement) and still nothing.
