If you can see it, you can hunt it! Within reason. Winchester’s Expedition Big Game series 6.5 PRC ammo won’t let you shoot moose on the moon (unless you are also on the moon, and have a special rifle that works without oxygen), but it will let you really stretch your limits all the same.

This cartridge owes it all to Nosler’s innovative AccuBond Long Range bullet (which is alternatively shortened to “AccuBond LR” or just “ABLR). Thanks to its boat tail, concentric jacket, and special polymer tip which is designed to resist becoming flattened by recoil, the bullet is aerodynamically efficient enough to conserve over three-quarters of its velocity by the time it has reached 500 yards.

The AccuBond LR’s tip, nose cavity, and fully tapered jacket kick into action to supply devastatingly rapid terminal expansion, even if the bullet cruises into its target past 1,000 yards. The ABLR is also built for short-range results, as its lead core is fused to its copper shell to prevent excessive fragmentation on impact.
