Although not traditionally counted among the top varmint hunting cartridges, Horandy’s V-Match series 6.5 Creedmoor is due to change the way folks bop rodents and predators!This cartridge’s 100 grain ELD-VT is engineered for match accuracy. Its sleek, ballistically efficient profile begins with a Heat Shield tip, which is made of polymer that is specifically formulated to remain undeformed while it is broiled by aerodynamic friction. The long bullet’s AMP jacket possesses virtually zero runoff or concentricity flaws, which does a great deal to promote in-flight stability.
The ELD-VT’s polymer tip does not actually touch its lead core – at least not until impact. When the bullet plows into a small game animal, its tip violently disrupts the surrounding jacket mouth and then slams into the core, thus ensuring dramatic terminal fragmentation.
