20rds – 5.56x45 Winchester 50gr. Jacketed Frangible Ammo

Winchester Ammunition 50 Grain Frangible Ammo Details

This 5.56x45 cartridge by Winchester features a 50 grain jacketed frangible projectile. The bullet’s core is inherently brittle, which greatly reduces the chances of dangerous splash-back occurring while you are firing upon steel targets or targets set up in front of a rocky backdrop. This round’s projectile is devoid of lead, which not only means you may better enjoy it indoors where you wouldn’t like to worry about hot propellant gasses creating lead vapors. This bullet’s jacket assures that it will positively function within a semi-automatic rifle, and further prevents excessive fouling within the bore.

Like its projectile, this cartridge’s primer is also lead-free, even further suiting it for indoor training where ventilation may be inadequate. Winchester’s factory fresh brass casing is ideal for reloading projects, and their propellant burns clean in order to minimize wear and tear on your firearm’s action.
