Whether it be hunting hogs or stalking bears, these American made .500 S&W Magnum rounds from Armscor will be a great companion to have! These rounds are constructed using proven components including reloadable brass casings, non-corrosive Boxer primers, time-tested propellant, and Hornady eXtreme Terminal Performance (XTP) projectiles. The XTP bullet is one of the most effective modern jacketed hollow-point designs and features a precisely shaped cavity with deep skiving and a toothed cannelure; these features all contribute to reliable expansion at a controlled rate with an emphasis on consistent penetration into the appropriate vital zones.

The XTP projectile chosen for this load weighs 300 grains but is loaded to a relatively low muzzle velocity of 1,500 (as opposed to the typical 2,000) feet-per-second; that makes these rounds pleasant to shoot and easy to control for proper shot placement. Armscor is a company based in the Philippines which has been responsible for importing firearms and ammunition into the United States for decades.
