Any animal that becomes the recipient of this 50 Beowulf round’s 350 grain bullet is going to have a really hard time. That’s because it’s the Lehigh Defense Xtreme Penetrator Fluid Transfer Monolithic, which features progressive nose geometry that delivers walloping impact energy, avoids fragmentation or deflection upon encountering hide or another barrier, and achieves deep and straight penetration.

But that’s just the half of it. When the Xtreme Penetrator’s radial flutes encounter soft tissue, they channel it inward, pressurize it, and then release the restricted energy outward to (A) create massive pressure spikes, and (B) destroy surrounding soft tissue. The result is a permanent wound cavity up to four times wider than what a flat nose bullet can accomplish – and often wider than what other solid copper expanding bullets can do.
