Underwood Ammo 350 Grain Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) Ammo Details

This round’s .50 cal 350 grain full metal jacket is nothing remarkably fancy: just a lead core and copper jacket like you’d want to fire at a range target. The bullet’s flat nose profile does give it the capacity to deliver a deep, wide wound channel, however, which is why you can trust it to neutralize a hog or black bear so long as you aim it right.

This ammo does not feature Underwood’s usual nickel-plated brass cases, but the cases it does have are pin-straight, high-quality and reloadable. The Illinois company’s low-flash propellant is present in full force, though – an invaluable feature if you intend to fire at night and don’t want to get temporarily blinded by bright flash.
