Each component used of Hornady’s Custom loads is of the highest quality. Each cartridge is loaded with powders specially formulated to produce optimal pressure, velocity, and consistency. Boxer primers are carefully matched to individual loads and specifically selected to produce rapid, complete, and reliable ignition. Hornady also manufactures its own brass cases, setting high standards for corrosion resistance, hardness, and the ability to withstand maximum chamber pressures.

This Hornady Custom .480 Ruger ammunition is loaded with XTP (eXtreme Terminal Performance) jacketed hollow point projectiles. Weighing in at 325 grains, these XTP bullets expand reliably at a wide range of velocities. XTP features a swaged lead core for balance and uniform density and a drawn gilding metal jacket. The jacket is serrated into symmetrical sections to strategically weaken the jacket and initiate expansion even at low velocities.

This non-corrosive ammunition comes packed in 20-round boxes. Each round produces a consistent muzzle velocity of 1350 feet per second with 1315 foot pounds of muzzle energy.

Love my Ruger 480 and Ammunition To Go saved the day. It’s hard to get and I was very happy they had it and at a good price to boot. Keep it coming!

Why is this Ammo so short in supply? Hornady is a great company as is Ruger. I have enjoyed shooting this 480. Let's get the Ammo available....Ole Joe is going President Trump is coming back!!!!!!!!!!!! Lets ramp up the production of this great Ammo.

Just LOVE this round! Great energy, Livable recoil, I can shoot it in my Blackhawk! The only problem is finding ammo!
