Inceptor 88 Grain ARX Ammo Details

This 40 S&W round features the one of a kind ARX projectile, a bullet designed for self-defense in a whole new way. Inceptor’s bullet does away with the hollow point entirely, using instead a set of three specialized grooves that exploit fluid dynamics to create a lethal wound cavity. Each groove channels soft tissue down and away from itself, ejecting it even faster than the ARX itself is traveling. The ARX’s terminal performance rivals or beats that of a comparable hollow point, though its rounded nose greatly improves feeding in a semi-automatic.

The copper-polymer ARX contains no lead, and it is injection molded. As the result it is extremely lightweight, and able to issue forth in a flatter trajectory but with substantially less recoil. The standardized precision with which an ARX is formed also gives its in-flight performance the consistency that a load for personal protection has simply got to deliver.
