True to its name, the Partition separates its lead core’s front and rear sections with an extension of its jacket. The base remains more or less completely undeformed during penetration, thereby preserving the momentum the bullet needs to dig deeply into its dense target. The front features a soft point design with a thin jacket mouth that gradually thickens toward the bullet’s midsection. This enables the Partition to mushroom outward after high-velocity impact, low-velocity impact, and everything in between.
