Hornady’s Dangerous Game Series ammunition is perfect for hunting beasts you would rather avoid having to shoot twice. This 375 H&H Magnum cartridge deposits about 2,500 ft lbs of energy in its target at 200 yards, and it backs up that bone-crunching performance with the power of the DGX Bonded.

The 300 grain DGX Bonded’s jacket is thicker than usual at 0.098”. Beneath its copper clad exterior sits a layer or pure steel. This is bonded to the bullet’s lead core, and also mechanically locked to it via a raised cannelure. So durable a bullet is able to pierce large game’s hide and sinuous muscle tissue with relative ease, and its flat nose profile helps to promote straighter, deadlier penetration.

The resilient DGX Bonded does more than penetrate deeply. The symmetrical sections radiating from its flat nose enable the large soft point to expand 1.5 to 2 times its original diameter when it strikes a target between 100 and 150 yards, thus enabling it to carve out a wide wound channel while effectively dispersing its lethal energy in lateral directions.
