The 327 Federal Magnum gets about 1% of the credit it actually deserves. It is an excellent revolver cartridge for personal protection – yet sadly, low demand has throttled production of premium self-defense ammo.

Three cheers for Underwood (Illinios) for giving all 327 Magnum carriers a swell option for defense. It is loaded with the aptly named Xtreme Defender bullet: one of Lehigh Defense’s (Texas) inventions, which utilizes its solid-copper build to defeat urban barriers without shedding significant weight, and a unique fluted nose profile which forces soft tissues outward to establish a massive permanent wound channel – as wide as the doubled product of a run-of-the-mill jacketed hollow point.

Bright muzzle flash is blinding in the dark. This ammo’s low-flash powder addresses that issue. Bare brass cases may tarnish more easily than nickel-plated ones – hence this ammo’s nickel-plated cases. Some online ammo retailers ship ammo slowly. AmmoToGo.com is not one of them.
