Winchester Ammunition 150 Grain Polymer Tipped Ammo Details
Deer Season XP ammunition showcases the buck-stopping terminal performance of Winchester’s state of the art Extreme Point! You don’t need to inspect this 308 Win cartridge’s 150 grain bullet to how it is different: It has a huge polymer tip. It comprises 48 percent of the Extreme Point’s frontal surface area, as a matter of fact, which alongside its sleek profile helps the bullet retain more velocity downrange.
So large a polymer tip accordingly has a broad base. That’s why the Extreme Point is able to expand to such a wide diameter immediately following impact, enabling it to transfer more energy to its target, faster. The Extreme Point’s tapered jacket and alloyed lead core are also optimized to deliver deadlier terminal expansion than a traditional 180 grain soft point ever could!
Winchester seats their flat-based buck-breaker in a brand new brass case, which is tailored to chamber neatly in any type of rifle’s chamber. The American Legend’s meticulous loading protocol ensures each round in this box of 20 has a consistent non-corrosive primer and propellant charge, so you can take aim at your quarry with confidence!

Took a whitetail buck , 8-pointer, in west central Virginia with one shot of this cartridge from my Sako model 75 Deluxe. He took one step and dropped like a sack of potatoes. The measured distance with my Leupold rangefinder was 150 yards. Can attest these bullets expand as advertised with devastating results.
