Perfect for high-stakes competition, this new production .308 Winchester (7.62x51) ammunition pairs Nosler’s precision Custom Competition bullet with Nosler premium brass. Each factory fresh cartridge is loaded with a 168 grain hollow point boat tail projectile. Engineered by Nosler, these projectiles feature highly concentric jackets and ultra-precise lead alloy cores. Custom Competition bullets have hollow points with a small meplat that reduces in-flight drag, increasing aerodynamic efficiency. These proprietary projectiles also incorporate a pronounced boat-tail design which produces consistent flight characteristics over a wide range of velocities. The result is one of the most accurate match rifle bullets available to the modern shooter.
Nosler has some of the strictest quality standards in the industry. Each piece of Nosler Custom brass is checked for proper length and size. Case mouths are chamfered and flash holes are checked for proper alignment. To ensure quality and consistency, Nosler meticulously weighs powder charges and visually inspects and polishes each round before it leaves the factory.
