This cartridge’s bullet is strictly built for long-range accuracy – not hunting or home defense. The hollow point boat tail’s tip is often mistaken for the kind of nose cavity that delivers terminal expansion. In fact, the bullet has an open tip because its jacket was formed first and subsequently injection molded with liquified lead.
