The CX delivers a tremendously flat trajectory – and not just when it is combined with Superformance propellant, which accelerates muzzle velocity by as much as 200 fps without boosting chamber pressure or producing snappier recoil. The monolithic bullet’s perfectly balanced body is streamlined by its Heat Shield polymer tip, which preserves its ballistically efficient DVRT meplat regardless of how intensely air friction bakes it. The CX is also circled by grooves, which improve its bearing surface before going on to reduce drag to an even further extent.

The CX owes its extreme takedown power to much more than its peppy propellant, too. It’s a lot stronger than a traditional lead/copper hunting bullet, which accounts for its high weight retention.
