Fiocchi Ammunition 150 Grain SST Ammo Details

Founded in 1876 and located in Lecco, Italy, Fiocchi Munizioni has long been a world leader in ammunition production. Fiocchi has been manufacturing ammunition for the US market in their state-of-the-art manufacturing plant located in Ozark, Missouri since 1986.

Fiocchi’s Extrema line features high quality components from the world’s top bullet manufacturers. Each of these .308 Winchester (7.62x51) cartridges is loaded with a 150 grain Hornady SST bullet. Super Shock Tip (SST) projectiles feature a pointed polymer tip to improve ballistic coefficient for faster, flatter trajectories and increased long range accuracy. Hornady SST bullets also feature a one-piece core and jacket strengthened in critical areas. The result of this unique construction is controlled expansion and near 100 percent weight retention.

Leaving the muzzle at a velocity of 2860 feet per second with 2724 foot pounds of muzzle energy, these hard-hitting loads are well-suited for hunting whitetails or other medium size game animals. This factory fresh ammunition is non-corrosive, boxer primed, brass cased, and reloadable.

Wow! This ammo is a great deal. Every bit as good as Hornady but 30% cheaper. Accurate and consistent results out of my Ruger gunsite scout rifle. Gotta love it!
