The OTMs are wrapped in finely attuned copper jackets, which have narrow apertures in their tips because their lead cores were injected into place. Such aerodynamic and balanced bullets consistently achieve a 0.450 G1 ballistic coefficient, which means they can remain supersonic until approximately 1,025 yards (assuming they hit their posted muzzle velocity of 2,650 fps, of course).
