20rds – 308 Win Hornady Superformance 150gr. SST Ammo
Hornady Ammunition 150 Grain SST Ammo Details
You drink coffee because you like a boost. You watch Rocky when you want a boost. You installed a nitrous system in your 1993 Corolla because you need a boost. And you buy Hornady’s Superformance line of ammo when you want to boost your rifle’s muzzle velocity by up to 200 fps without adding needless extra recoil, muzzle blast, fouling, or chamber pressure. This 308 Win cartridge features Hornady’s 150 grain Super Shock Tip. The SST makes full use of its dizzying 3,000 fps muzzle velocity out of a 24” barrel with its angled boat tail base, sleek secant ogive geometry, and sharp polymer tip that boost its BC to 0.415. When the SST collides with hog or deer its tip instantly wedges into its lead core to commence massive expansion. The SST is prevented from disintegrating at high velocities by the InterLock ring that roots its core and jacket together, as well as a mid-body cannelure. It’s a bullet that gets from point A to point B sans deviation, and does massive damage inside of wherever it finds itself.
This round is safe to use in gas operated firearms, and features the high grade components that Hornady wouldn’t dream of depriving one of their proprietary bullets of. Its select brass, snappy primer, and clean burning propellant will be your friends in the woods.

I won’t shoot another round, unless Hornady Superformance 150 Gr. SST .308 Win. are no longer in existence.
I have never had a deer leave the point of impact, except one and I double lunged him at 300 yds.
Every hog I have taken stand still has dropped in their tracks and the ones running, took them into a 1.5 flip.
I love these rounds so much, that if I don’t have them, I’d just soon not hunt.
Clean ethical kill every time, if bullet placement is correct.
