150 grain, I have taken several white tail deer.
I did use the 180 grain for for 9 of my mule bucks,& 2 does past years.
I also used 150 grain on monkey, 3 Baboons, 2 Blesboks, 2 Impala 2 warthogs.
I used 180 grain on 1 Gemsbok, 1 Wildebeest,
used 200 grain on Waterbuck, 1 Sable 2 Kudus on several Safaris in Africa,
I wish Winchester would make more ammo for the 300 WSM very disappointing when trying to find ammo
